For various reasons (possibly including several concussions over the last 30 or so years and multiple distractions in the kitchen) I managed to undo the damper body bleed screw during the megneg installation process and lost some oil. Obviously I need to replace said oil, but if I were to ride it until I get round to that, will I or the shock die?

You will be fine but it might be a bit squelchy and not have much damping. So as long as your aware it might be like riding a Pogo stick with sound effects .

That's the conclusion I came to in the end. Didn't feel as bad as I was expecting but obvs not quite right. Currently debating sorting it myself or sending it off to J-Tech and getting a custom tune at the same time.
