... would it be the Saturday (lots more riders and bottlenecks, more of an event feel) or Sunday (less riders and more flowy) ?

I've not been before and am undecided, will probably be riding alone, long route.

Opinions appreciated, Ta.

I've always ridden the Saturday, mainly just for the atmosphere and après shenanigans at the Neuadd in the evening. I Think it's that sort of event where if you're not part of the camaraderie, you might as well not do it. The route's not spectacular and the time of year doesn't lend itself to dust and sunshine!

Saturday. You'll be too hungover Sunday to enjoy riding.

I haven't done it, but I can't see myself ever wanting to ride on the sunday at an event called the real ale wobble. Saturday, as long as you can't get there early enough on the friday to empty a couple of barrels...

Did the summer cider cycle this year. The light's still broke in the Neuadd from crowd surfing to Dangerous Dave at last year's wobble. Still have the phone recording of 40 blokes signing along to a Boyzone cover. Guess you had to be there

Amazing event

I love doing both days

Saturday - the big party, big crowds, mega atmosphere

Sunday - more mellow, less busy, hungover 🙂

In enjoyment terms they are different - both wonderful
