oops, the missus is using my login!
er....
has si had a sex change or developed a split personality?
thin end of the wedge, she'll be posting nekkid pics of you next
Oh dear, just used his log-on. He is going to kill me!
Anyway as I was saying decided to throw myself into mountain biking, I need some shoes, can anyone recommend any shoes for ladies for flat pedals?
I have some of these: http://www.cyclesurgery.com/1027634/Specialized-Taho-MTB-Shoe.html?referrer=froogle.txt&utm_source=google&utm_medium=froogle&utm_campaign=pid1027634
I use them with spd pedals, but I have a friend who wears them with flat pedals.
etnies do nice white/pink ones. i got my daughter some
I second the Shimano Tahos. Used them originally with flats then converted them to spds later.
Thanks everyone i shall have a look!
Jedi - I hear you do skills training, do you cater for novices?
of course i do! vast majority of my work is beginner off road level
Specialized Tahoes aren't that grippy with flat pedals
The (too) stiff sole and (too) hard rubber compound are better suited to SPD pedal use
Decent hiking boots are often better I've found
Thanks for the info James.
Jedi - once I have improved my base level of fitness I would like arrange a session with you. I think it will help my confindence, plus I would like to try and keep up with si!
hey no worries.
