Oh dear, just used his log-on. He is going to kill me!

Anyway as I was saying decided to throw myself into mountain biking, I need some shoes, can anyone recommend any shoes for ladies for flat pedals?

I have some of these: http://www.cyclesurgery.com/1027634/Specialized-Taho-MTB-Shoe.html?referrer=froogle.txt&utm_source=google&utm_medium=froogle&utm_campaign=pid1027634

I use them with spd pedals, but I have a friend who wears them with flat pedals.

I second the Shimano Tahos. Used them originally with flats then converted them to spds later.

Specialized Tahoes aren't that grippy with flat pedals

The (too) stiff sole and (too) hard rubber compound are better suited to SPD pedal use
Decent hiking boots are often better I've found
