So driving to work this morning this drone opts not to use the cycle lane and instead swerve over into the main carriage way to take up a position as a road tax paying vehicle causing all the drivers behind to slam on their brakes and then there was the resultant tailback. If there is a cycle lane use it, if your argument against using the cycle lane is that its not swept then contact your council or fit tyres more appropriate to the terrain, how road cyclists seem to be convinced that those skinny tubs are suitable for roads just after the frost has destroyed the surface is anybody's guess!?

so anyone for a cuppa?

if your argument against using the cycle lane

My argument for not using a couple of cycle lanes I know is that: It's a shared pavement, so I have to slow down to cross every side road, and there's peds everywhere, so it's safer, much faster, and easier on the road! ๐Ÿ˜€

no rules saying you must use a cycle lane - it is optional and to be fair some cycle lanes are so poor the only sensible option is the road..

Good troll attempt, but lacking substance.

Btw cars do not have any right to use the road, they have to get a licence to to so, paid annually to the DVLA.

On the other hand it is the right of pedestrians, horse riders, and cyclists to use the road, so car drivers should be more respectful of their superiors on the road.

There, added some meat for you ๐Ÿ™‚

i hated it in the snow when all those cars without winter tyres were getting in my way as I moved along faster than them on my SS chariot was great to see the look on the faces of pretend 4x4 owners [chelsea tractor /school run mum]as a cyclist overtook them
Can they not just stay at home when it snows
