Hi, I have an opportunity to buy this bike at a good price, claims to be a Trek Fuel EX9, but looking back over the 2007/8/9 models on various sites, it doesn't seem to quite fit any
What's the collective think?

Yep same as above its the 06 model, depends on howmuch he/she wants for it??
I have the ex7 same year and its a great bike, rides really well, only snag i have is its limited to 100mm travel and ive contacted Trek thats all it will take without voiding my lifetime frame warranty, one thing to check is the carbon rear end and look for chainsuck mine has been battered, ive had to cover it up to prevent anymore damage.
They were also seriously weighty for the money, and had a really nasty dual remote lockout thing that rarely worked. I'd avoid unless it's cheap.
