foookn orrible today. ice everywhere. had to walk sections !
car from now on methinks !
anyone else suffered today ?

ice ice ice and more ice at East Kilbride. Going downhill at near 40mph on a road bike at 5:30am is not a good time to wonder to yourself whether that water covering the road is indeed actually water or ice................. cue gentle pulling of the rear brake and ' covering' of the front brake.

I will continue throughout all winter as per last year although last year i realised that heavy snow hitting the bare eyes is very very sore. Glasses all the time as well

I dropped off a kerb years ago on a commute to work and lost it on a patch of ice big time. Smashed my hip up and ended up having a week off work.

Oh well every cloud...

NFT was treacherous today. All those d******d boards were full of black ice. Came off twice, then walked!
