My old helmet, a bell super i think, came with a sticker that I registered. A really great idea.

My new helmet, a poc kortal does not.

Anyone bought an aftermarket ice helmet sticker and is there any issues with sticking one on?

I did wonder if I could just peel the one off the old helmet and reapply!

Yeah, I'd seen the helmet strap one. Not sure I'd want that there.

Have you got it 1timmy1?

Dis this post make anyone else think of the scene in Black Hawk Down, where a guy is writing his blood type etc on his combat gear?

That scene is dumb (but I still see soldiers do it) because, unless your medic is a ****ing ninja, you're getting O- no matter what.

No, I went for a wrist one (didn't see that one when I bought mine years ago). Don't know which I would prefer.

Sharpie ICE and the mobile number of whoever’s most likely to answer directly onto the inside of your helmet.

Ice Id

It’s Ice-T or Chuck D.

I use the RoadID app and that shows up my contacts on the phone wallpaper too. I'd get a RoadID bracelet, ... except I don't live in LA. And i'm prone to giving up.

I wear a helmet less and less, I wonder where I could put something similar.

Ive ICE info printed on a headset spacer...... used to have a custom headset cap with it on which was more visible, red anodised so it stood out- but ive a multitool there now.

i've read in a few places (although not sure if true or not) that emergency services and mountain rescue tend to look for your mobile phone for any contact details, so you're best off having your ice details on the screen lock page. unless your ice details are somewhere glaringly obvious, i suspect they could go unnoticed if they are not where emergency services would expect them to be

@sofaboy & anyone else.

better to add emergency contacts on your phone. Then if someone finds your phone they can actually call them from your phone without unlocking the phone

I've got a RoadID on my wrist which I wear when out and about.

There's also an emergency screen on iPhones that can be accessed without the phone being unlocked.
