Is there anyone anywhere near Leeds that would be willing to let me have. sit on a large Ibis Ripley v4?
Failing that can anyone weight in on sizing against my 177cm / just under 5'10" height please?

Can't help you on the first, but I'm 5ft11 and the large did not feel large. Definitely you'd be a bit big for the Med unless you've got very short arms!
