Doing the southdowns way this weekend and torn between standard triple and 9spd comfy ibis or an alfine rigid swift.
Have got a slightly dodgy knee at the mo so thinking the bounce might be handy but bigger wheels probably best for the relatively non tech riding. Anyone know how the trail is at the mo? Soggy or firm?

Comfy all the way. Good luck, it's a great ride.
It's fairly rough and feels rougher after 100 miles!
Rather you than me now the conditions have changed, good wind direction though on Sat.

It'll be a wet chalky muddy mess Eastbourne end looking at Saturdays forecast.
