Just had a blow out, the tyres not new but has shed loads left in it.
The kevlar bead has come out of the rubber, so the tube just blew through the side.
Good job I wasn't descending because the front wheel went all over the shop.

I've had similar happen with pro race 3s at 35mph downhill. It's a bit scary.

managed to roll a vredestien fortezza off an open pro, tyre was at max pressure and was a little on the loose side when i fitted it, 145-0 psi you know about it. my ears were ringing for a while.

I guess chalk it down to experience, these things happen. Worst thing i find is the thoughts afterwards, it can take a little while to be happy to ride fast again, just incase it happens again.

Not a happy bunny. So it's back to Fortezza Tri Comps or I might try those Challenge Crits.
