...are all bike computer sensor magnets 'generic', ie. different brands work with each other? I've managed to lose one off my crank (cadence on road bike).

I think the answer is yes, please confirm!

Almost all. There used to be one brand where the "magnet" was a ring with multiple poles of magnet. A crank arm cadence magnet will just be a generic magnet though, and any computer magnet (or even magnets for other things) should work.

The only stupid question is the one you don't ask because you're afraid of looking silly.
