[Closed] I spec compatibility question

I suspect I know the answer to this, and it's going to be a big fat "no". Shimano seem to have excelled themselves as his time

Is there anyway of fitting an I spec b shifter to an I spec EV brake? Wolf Tooth and Problem Solvers don't do anything. There's a thread on MTBR but that's for an I spec II shifter. I've tried using an 11 speed clamp type shifter but it's either too close to the grip or too far away depending on which side of the brake clamp it goes. Anyone managed to bodge anything?
