I placed an order with Evans last Friday, yesterday they emailed to say they're processing it in the next 2-4 days. But I want to cancel the order.
Their phone lines are closed, online chat is always offline/unavailable, I've replied to their emails to no avail, no email addresses are published by them, and I've done a 'contact us' message a few days ago quoting the order number with no reply.
Has anybody got any bright ideas?
Delivery or click and collect?
I canceled a C&C order a few weeks ago by e-mail and they refunded it pretty quickly.
Give them a few days, I imagine they're all working from home and dealing with way more e-mails than normal.
Have you tried calling your nearest branch directly. They have access to the order system in store, and are more likely to be available to answer the phone.
Great idea, tried Cheltenham store (nearest open to me) - the staff there said they could see online orders but not cancel them. All staff at Shirebrook are furloughed according to them. I cheekily asked for an internal email address, they said they don't have any, it's usually all done over the phone...
So I'm no further on sadly. May try another store, anyone know a good one?
What till it arrives and send it back for a refund.
Email the chief exec?
Probably pissed up on a Virgin plane heading to a meeting at a Wetherspoons.
Try the Gatwick store, it’s the one at head office so there is a fighting chance they’ll have more knowledge of their systems.
