[#9907176]

Hello the Mrs is after a new hard tail as wants to upgrade her old Myka. Needs to be ok for trundling about on for a months bikepacking trip so pretty light and pretty aggro as well which is her default rider setting. Budget about a grand. Not asking much is it?Any ladies out there with any advice whilst the search begins.

Not sure if they still do them, but my Mrs upgraded her Myka 26" to an Orange Diva 29".

Looks funny with a XS frame, but it's a much lighter and nicer bike than the Myka was.

Mrs has been looking at Canyon looks good.

Don't think she’s very keen on 29er but I am a huge Orange fan.

Paul's cycles usually have a good choice of hardtails.

How tall is she? Given the recent revelation that physical dimensions don't vary significantly between men and women of a similar height, maybe it doesn't need to be female specific.

We need to know rider height.

Also, is that aggressive in xc riding speed or enduro gnarly aggressive..?

Women’s specific because Mrs has full suss and hardtail women’s bikes and prefers them to small men’s.

Full bike as I can’t be arsed building one it works out dearer as you get carried away and I’ve got other stuff to do.

Gnarly as in gnarly flat out technical.

Short about 5. 2

Thanks for the Paul’s link.
