So, i have a pretty cheap 29er SS frame (Trek Marlin) which i use for the commute right now but i want to get a lighter/betterer bike to replace it.
Duties will be mostly gravel/sustrans type routes for winter fitness rides when it's too muddy for proper trails. So, ability to take some CX type tyre widths a must, also will be used for my very short commute (about a mile)
Criteria: Singlespeedable frame as i'm running an alfine 700c wheel. It's got to be lighter than my current Trek (wont be hard). No steel, or Titanium. I'll be running a rigid fork, and flat bars. Got to have disks both ends too!
Currently thinking 'On One Lurcher' maybe, as i have a Carbon 456 Evo which i quite like. I have all the parts really, just not too sure i have seen many more options than the 'Lurcher'
Any further options i've not considered?
