[#2209669]

He has only gone and cured my bike swap/buy addiction!

Over the past 5 years i reckon i have had 15-20 bikes, I bought an MMMbop in August and absolutely love it! Stuff i have struggled on and bottled before on a full sus is slowly becoming achievable, steps are ace as are steep down, ups are pretty cool too!. The only place it doesn't excel is on the flat road but hey ho!!

I reckon this is a keeper, build kit is nowt flash but all decent kit, weighs about 27Lb but rides way lighter.

Anyway - Brant Richards you ****! What can i spend my cash on now eh!!

😀

I'll admit it too - loving the mmmbop and can't believe they've stopped making them.

The Pig outsold it 10-1 apparently.

Put me down for December please. What odds are Ladbrokes offering?

This is almost as good as Downie's "I'll NEVER sell the Zesty".

Time to pour pointless amounts of money into flash kit then

No bugger bought them til the price got slashed. Not sure exactly why, I think it's got a lot to do with a lot of people being damn fools. I can only really see one of 3 things tempting me off mine- either a Ragley ti (unlikely), a BFe (possible) or I decide I've screwed up and want a Soul again (probably most likely) but right now it's Teh Bestest Hardtail Evars.

I wish I got one when they were still cheap - really want one now. Not a huge fan of the 2 colours they offered though.

What's on it now? I reckon the Mmmbop can really make use of the best fork you can find, I ran mine with older Revelations and it worked but then it got the blackbox Teams off my Hemlock and it became a bit of a monster. And light strong wheels to give it more snap and agility. And a dropper seatpost.

Just bought a mmmbop frame off Northwind for Seamus Jr's Christmas pressie. With all these rave reviews I'm starting to think he's going to have a better bike than me 😕
