I don't ride at night for skills sharpening, but part of the fun of it is the 'tunnel effect' of only being able to see a certain amount around you...

There is a family of badgers in the centre of that shot but they've been vapourised by the blinding light. Looks well made though.

I bet sightings of UFO's in the woods near you increase in the near future 😉

That has really made me smile, you'll never lose a dust cap when repairing a puncture on a night ride again 😆

that'll dry the puddles before you reach them. Very impressive but as said above, not my bag, I like the feeling that you can't quite see as well as when it's daytime.

what sort of noise does it make when you switch it on?

Does it go 'FWOOOOMP'? Or 'ZZZZRRRRRUUUUIII' (can't quite work out how to spell that last one... you need a rising inflection on it as you imagine the power building up 😆 )

In all seriousness, if it does get two hours on full beam from 5.2Ah, then the runtimes at "normal" lighting levels will be obscene, with a great beam profile.

Sorry Billybull, ill leave that for Trout to answer, as it was a one-off, and it is his hobby/craft after all, but not much more than the other new Trout light.

I wasnt saying another one would be that price if ever there was another as there was a huge amount of work went in to it

2 hours on full from phils 5.2 amp hour is close but there are no 2 hour techy decents around .

and I dont think I will have the time to do one for a while .

If you ride with Swift then you need 2 Troutlight LL s now 😀
