...I did my first bunny hop today 🙂
It wasn't very high, it wasn't very far but it did have both wheels in the air at the same time.
I'm happier about it than a 34 year old should be.
Normal bunny hop or American ??

American seems about right
I blame the new shoes, it was much easier to scoop the back up than with my old trainers.

Normal hop or American? Wtf? It's either a shit hop or a bunny hop, don't let them label that embarrassing shitty little hoppy thing as a UK bunny hop.
I used to build hurdles with a loose stick on top - the excitement of going back to check if it hadn't been knocked off was unbecoming of someone in their mid 40s.

Congrats! I actually remember my first, I was riding down the street to my house at the end of a ride, on my silly rigid carrera I'd built, and suddenly just thought "I think I understand how to bunnyhop", out of nowhere, and did it. Then tried to do another and couldn't, took ages to get the second one 😳
