Anyone else had the CF rails break off on an I Beam saddle?
Commuting to work thi am and a loud crack was accompanied by a funny angled saddle.
Close inspection showed that the thing hadn't just rotated about the pivot point - the rails had snapped off in the clamp!!
Luckily there was sufficient remaining rail to get to work, but with the saddle much further forward than my normal comfortable preference.
ETA - This was on a Bel Air. Antone tried the I-Fly? (looking at possible replacements...)
I-Fly is like a Bel Air, except lighter, smaller and harder...
tbh No problems with any of mine, but went to the Formula FX earlier this year - far more comfier and not much heavier than the Bel Air.

Hhhmmmm. Bel Air was pretty hard in I-Beam format, especially on the Pace.
Which reminds me - if the impact was enough to break the saddle, I'd best check the top tube / seat tube weld.
