I have just finished the full strip down, repair and rebuild of some Campagnolo Ergo levers. And they are buttery smooth.
I deserve a drink 🙂

Was it easy to get the spare parts?

However, I have just noticed while getting my cross bike ready for Saturdays ride that I forgot to replace the bar tape that I took off in a hurry on Sunday 😳

There are a lot of places that still have parts. Looking at the components I think if you lube them and replace the springs once in a lifetime they'll last forever.
On the face of it they look bloody complicated, but it's really just a few springs that keep them all together.

I'm now thinking of upgrading them to 9 speed,if I can find the conversion cam.

Back on the original topic, which levers did you have ? I have the bottom of the range ones (Mirage/Xenon?), and they're pants. Sortov plasticy, starting to kludge shifts, I was thinking of upgrading to Veloce (9spd)
