Hello all .
Can anyone give ne a good reason to buy an expensive hydraulic house? I have asked in a few shops and the best they can offer is ‘they are more expensive because they use better materials. I couldn’t care less if they are made of gold, if they don’t add stopping power what’s to point. So should I save that £20 and buy something useful like a bit of petrol to get me into the countryside?

All your thoughts welcome

I work for an industrial hose company and if the one's you were offered were made of better materials they will last longer, be more flexible and better made.

Don't forget
Buy it cheap buy it twice
Which is very false economy sometimes

Better should mean more flexible, less prone to expansion and tougher. Which is why I used to use Goodridge. However I couldn't afford the hydraulic mortgage so stick to Shimano stuff now.
