Hey, not been on for a while but good to see its still busy... So hope you can help...

I'm rebuilding my sons bike and the old hose is now cut too short. I have found an old hose (not attached to anything for about 4 years or more) that is from the same manufacture in an old box of gubbins...

I want to make sure that it is not contaminated, so whats the best way. Iso alcohol squirted through....?

Top tips appreciated.

Ta

I'd just flush it through with brake fluid from a bleed syringe and then maybe blow any remaining fluid out with an airline.

Only flush with brake fluid if you are going to use brake fluid in the brakes

We're getting one of these at work - shame it won't quite go down to mtb hose sizes......

Firing foam projectiles down pipes with a compressed air gun sounds fun. I'm sure someone will find alternative uses for it ๐Ÿ™‚
