Evening all,
I'm in the market for a new hydration pack and am looking for some recommendations from STW's collective wisdom (can't get out to the shops at the moment). Requirements: 2-3 hours ride time. Carrying the regular bits (snacks, multi-tool, small pump, spare tube, wallet, phone). Main part needs to be big enough to store knee pads and a spare jersey/compact jacket. Don't really want to spend more than £50-£60. Seen a couple of possibles on sale: camelback blowfish / osprey  raptor 14. It needs to be reasonably comfortable for broad shouldered (and a bit chunky) individuals. Thinking about doing impulse shopping on the computer this weekend. Any ideas?

Thanks

As fit/comfort is that important to you then I'd be visiting real shops.

I use an older Camelback HAWG for most rides.
when I havent got it full of kit and water it straps down tight so its not hanging there.

Then on days when you want more kit there is stacks of space.

if you check out ebay you can find em in your price range.

The subscription offer is tempting but don't really need a copy of what mtb every month. I suppose I can always cancel it after a year. May confine impulse purchase to other areas for the time being. In the meantime it's back to the old rucksack and bottles of water. Thanks for the comments

Just got a Camelbak Mule and very impressed - the internal baffle stops the bladder bulging out too much, lots of storage for tools, food and a thin jacket and an external pouch style pocket that might be big enough for your knee pads. Worth checking in a store.

Can be had for £60 in shops, I think Merlin had it for £54.
