hi all,

looking to get some new tyres for my voodoo marasa.

https://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductMobileDisplay?storeId=10001&langId=-1&catalogId=10151&categoryId=165534&productId=1378378

Looking at wide off off road type to handle rough paths on my commute. Would 29er tyres fit - 2.2/2.3? If not what good 700c tyres are about for off road? Halfords a good choice as I get 10% off!

thanks

I doubt you'll fit a mountainbike tyre in.

Gravel tyred will be what you are looking for probably. And then you will have a reasonable tyre for everything.

I've been lead to believe 50mm tyres will fit the Marasa, but I don't know about 2.35" (~58mm).

I have a pair of  https://www.planetx.co.uk/i/q/TYSCMRCFOL/schwalbe-marathon-cross-wired-tyre-with-raceguard that are two years old, that cost me £20 each from nextdaytyres, they done at least 1500 miles and still pretty much look brand new.

At ~60/75PSI they roll well on the road and rough paths, a bit lower gives more comfort on harsher terrain.
