Having tried everything I can to keep my feet warm and not wanting to wear out my £200 Northwave boots only in the wet 🙄 I spotted these. Currently half price £9Like most other people my lockdown riding is from home a couple of hours max and very little if any off road. So how rufty tufty are they and what size for a size 10 foot?

Others may have had a different experience, however I wear my Northwave Celcius GTX's every day from September through to March April for the last 4 years and they're still going strong. Very little in the way of "maintenance or cleaning", Obligatory cleat changes not withstanding. You'll struggle to wear them out. I found the cold tends to be in the toe box area and my solution in this case is some Castelli (other bramds are available!) toe covers, rather than full on overshoes. To keep the water out use Grip Grab cycling gaters.
