I need to fine tune my E13 SRS, I have a 68mm shell with the SRS backplate, spacer on the drive side and another spacer on th eno-drive side. I'd like to use a couple smaller spacers so I can move the backplate about a bit.

What size is the standard spacer ring? 2.5mm or 3.5mm?

Will this 1mm do the job?

Standard size is 2.5mm hence 2 spacers is the change from 68 to 73 shells.

Have you tried leaving the back plate where it is and just using some washers to space the top and bottom guide bits to where you want them?

Does anyone else thing it's a silly idea to have the spacers behind the cups, rather than on the axle?

Have you SEEN how little thread engages with a 68mm shell and 2 driveside spacers?

I'm with you Brant, surprised how few i've come across with knackered threads.

I seem to remember at big school that a bolt should have engagement with a thread for 1.5 x it's diameter.

1mm should work - the freehub spacers you get from Chris King in 1mm fit too...

Agree with the 68mm BB and 2 spacers issue - it's a poor solution and as Brant said you should put a spacer on the axel between the bearing and crank arm.
