OK I'm feeling a little challenged - exactly how many spacers do I need to put on my BB?
It's a 68mm case and I'm running regular 3x9 setup with no cain devices on a 07 Rockhopper.

68mm BB is 2 on the drive side one on the other side,
73mm BB one on the drive side.

3 spacers with 1 per side and the third one on whichever side gives you the best chainline

its for a 50mm chainline...

Shimano BB for 50mm chain line is 2 on drive side one on no drive side,
