What happened?
Why buy a brand then drive out the people who drove it? Was that the point? Buy something established?
Was it ever really "small, quality, ethical, eco, friendly, expensive but worth it" or was that just marketing? What happens now that Howies is a tiny part of The Timberland Company and looking quite a bit like greewash?
