I cant see a post about it, so where did everyone ride this weekend?

I had a great ride up FOD yesterday, We even found some trails we hadnt ridden beore. Today I explored a bit around the Rhondda Valley in south wales. It was my first time there, and some of the trails were excellent so Ill be back.

Mixed... 4 days in Austria with our bike group of 20 people.
Day 1 self guided, very good, nice trails, good singletrack.
Day2, guided. 1100m ascent on Tarmac, descent the same way. I bailed as I could see how it was going
Day 3 guided, 1186m ascent on Tarmac. No singletrack. I bailed at 300 m ascent... Hopeless
Day 4, self guided, great singletrack, rocks, roots, steep... The works. Beer. Cake.

Forks in for service (slight consolation upgrading with the VL)

Not to mention eldest and 1/2 his school are down with a stomach bug.

Mixed bag, still suffering with anxiety which is just shit, but took the youngest out on her first outdoor balancebike ride which was great fun.

Managed a solo trip to Cwmcarn this afternoon, forgot my XC lid so had to climb with my FF strapped to my back, but it was all the excuse I needed to ride down the DH track for the first time in years, scared myself a bit but loved it.

Broken wrist = no riding. On top of which Mr Drunken Idiot decided to stumble into me last night at an Ocean Colour Scene gig which has made it feel worse.

Mrs away overnight for triathlon so looking after sprogs, then out for cheeky road ride today with a few hills. Drugs for chest infection starting to work. So overall pretty good.

Hmm - bike forum - had an excellent weekend and didn't ride a bike at all. Rock climbing yesterday, led my first 6a+ outdoors (and had a generally fun day). This evening took my little boy to the circus club and we both had fun riding our unicycles around with other silly people.

Brilliant, thanks for asking.

Great old time mates, wine, views, great food, no bikes.

Knackered.

A weekend with friends up by the Ridgeway above Swindon. There was beer/meat/fire, there were bikes ridden on dusty natural trails, there were walks with the children and dogs, there was laughter, there was love and friendship.

In short, a near perfect weekend.

Went to Cannock in the Sun with the kiddiewinks for a stroll & playpark, followed by fruit picking! Yum. Came home and went out round local woods and lanes in the sun, was ace.

No riding, maybe tomorrow night. New (to us) dinghy arrived on Saturday and went out for the first time yesterday.

That'll be another expensive hobby rejuvenated....

Another rubbish weekend here. Working and sorting out a large hire group who thought our bikes could be abused with no comeback. The fee for a ruined frame and smashed derailleur soon stopped that. (Young blokes beer and hire bikes is a terrible idea).

Great day doing the steep and natural course at forest of Dean, great weather and didn't sit in endless traffic on the long drive home.

lowey your photos have hit me with an epic wave of nostalgia for when I used to be able to ride in the lakes every weekend.

As it was things could have been a lot worse though, got out for near 110km on the road bike, and realised that I might actually stand a chance of hitting the Rapha Rising target this year. I'm planning on finishing off the last 800m or so climbing on the mountain bike in the Surrey Hills next weekend ๐Ÿ™‚
