Hi all.

I am selling this bike on behalf of a friend:

It's clearly a bit niche and I am wondering how best to sell. Just Ebay the whole thing or break it up.

Any suggestions.

Best bet is probably to put a really shit stealth ad on the forum.

Or... put it on eBay for £1, it'll find its value.

It's not a stealth ad, it was a request for help from knowledgeable people.

I'll try the link again.

What's niche about that?
Usual answer is breaking up bikes and selling parts separately generally gets more money, but takes more time/hassle.
Or, as njee20 says, stick it on ebay starting at £1 and let the market decide.

MagicLink frame are hardly common and likely to interest some and not others.

Rest of the parts are decidedly non niche.

What size is it? Small 26ers are good as first mountain bikes for teenagers.
26 straight steerer forks will shift no problem on ebay. The rest of it, though, think you'd just be looking at beer money. People definitely like old konas, but I'm not sure you're into the vintage era with that one (is it a hei hei?).

It's a CoilAir Magic Link, 18" frame so not really small. Touch small for me at 6'

Fork is a tapered 26" Fox 36 FIT

Like everything ever?

Again, eBay, £1 if you really don't know what it's worth. If you have a figure in mind put it on eBay at that price. If it doesn't sell then you've lost nothing.

I put everything on at 99p start no reserve. I rarely regret doing so, and sometimes are pleasantly surprised. 🙂

Needs a chain. Or is that the niche bit?

Ah yes the chain 🙂

OK, breaking and 99p starters seems like the way to go.

njee20 - Are you interested? I'm struggling to know.
