I have some nice new decals for my BFe to replace the scotch-brite ones on the Gritstone BFe. I was told by cotic just to stick them over the existing ones as they are foil backed and very hard to remove. However if I do this and don't get it 100% there will be a lip on the new decals that will just peel off.
Anyone any good suggestions on removing the old ones?
heat gently with a hair drier to soften the glue and then peel off. Use bio-oil or similar to remove any residue
What are scotchbrite stickers? My black bfe has black/clear stickers that you cant see and therfore are nowhere near showy enough. How much were the new ones?
Sounds like you have the scotch brite stickers. The reflect the light. Take a photo of your bike with the flash and you'll see them glow.
They are a bit pish to honest. Hence why I've got the white ones.
I got them for nowt but I think they're in the region of 20 squid.
