[Closed] how to insert a foto off flickr(mobile)

I'm interested in this as well. Just logged on to ask how I posted a photo from Facebook to here using iPad or iPhone...not sure how to get the image url.

Easiest way I've found for Facebook is to download and either upload to Flickr or Dropbox... It's easier than dealing with Facebook permissions etc. Dropbox can be done from the mobile app

I don't think you can get the bbcode from the flickr app anymore

I couldn't get Flickr mobile to work, set up a photo bucket account in the end

Never tried as i now use imgur.

I can't figure it out. But here's my bodge:

Go to the picture in the Flickr app. Click on the link icon (looks like a length of chain), select copy url.

Paste it into the url bar, which takes you to the Flickr website.

Click the share icon (looks like an arrow) and get the bb code from there:

I've been trying for ages to do it(used to be easy to get bb code) now impossible to get it via iphone/iPad as you can't now "select all" for code and you can't copy whole code either ?

I was going to say, scroll down & select "Flickr.com", but your method is much quicker.

For info, posting this from an iPhone, but basically do as 5thElefant says but after pasting the url in to a browser window, the little sweeping arrow button opens a box with a code, with an "Embed" option. To copy it, hold on the code till some of the code is selected, then select the left dot & sweep to the left to the start, & select the right dot & sweep down to grab the code to the right that isn't shown, then the copy option comes up.
It doesn't say the code is a bb code but pasting it under here gives...

yes it's as before I can sweep left and as I start to sweep right to get end of code it drops the previously highlighted bit 🙁

I feel your pain plus one. I want to be one off the cool kids, and post pictures of my bike in various nice places, but I can't get it to work. 😳

Thing is I had it nailed it was easy to copy the bb code but a Flickr/iPhone update months ago has since stopped me 🙁

Trust me, if I can manage it with my 47yr old, ape like fingers, you can too.

Ok, slight edit, do the sweeping down bit first, then to the left.
Also, my bumpf above might have been a red herring, it does say bb code.

I don't get the BB code from the app, I just use the webpage now. browse to the image, open in a new tab, grab the image url, cut'n'paste to STW with *img tags...
