Another bunny watching and waiting too.
Coffee I'm in milngavie so can easily come and video/laugh at the impending disaster. Also means I can get a shot on the swings while I'm there ๐
It looks like the kiddy park has that soft stuff underneath the swings. I suggest you aim for that, just in case.
well?
is he dead yet?...
Will he get extra points if he does it in the wet?
I know this may not fit in with the testoterone fuelled environment that is stw but no way would I do that ๐ณ
don't worry pop - I wouldn't go near it either - it's taller than a kerb.
have you considered asking elbry for advice .? he is afterall, the UK's no 1 freeride hardcore rider ๐

Yes, 5 extra points.
Another one waiting here. *rubs hands*
is he dead yet?...POSTED 17 HOURS AGO
Oh dear...
[reverse psychology]
he's not going to do it
[/reverse psychology]
How much time has to pass since his last post before we can declare him legally dead and nick his stuff?
Another rule then.
In the event of the OPs unfortunate demise, whomever carries out and posts video of said sketchy playground drop gets all his stuff.
(I'm not doing it though, even the swings look too scary for me).
I can see this rule turning bad. Where all that's left are the guys who won't give anything a go, and jedi.
I wish that I hadn't seen the photo of the teeth....
lol @)
Update on this?
Get an angry bull to chase you and then you'll make it ๐
Tinners thread
I think he was hoping the thread would die... ๐
or he is laying in the playground waiting to be found? ๐
Any news yet?

I'm bagsie-ing his wife. If shes fit.....
No new wife for U31 - I was worried 3 days ago, when he was complaining about a headache, but as of 7 hours ago,
he seemed fine (and has a good relationship with his parents, so that's nice).
thebunk - not a weirdo stalker normally, honest.
No one live nearby who could do it, and show the vid?
This thread needs an ending.........................
Do we have a street name, so I can google map it and go there and try?
I spy with my little eye...

Tick tock tick tock...........
Who's going to be first with proof?
anyone?
Come on all you tough Glaswegians, it doesn't look that hard from the road!
(bump)
Does it take always this long to psyche yourself up?
i was away for the last few weeks and have just remembered abuot this thread. so, what's the deal? OP or anyone else done it yet? ๐
He tried, he fell, he cried
HTH
I live over in Milton of Campsie, so I went and had a look...
braver man than me if he tries it, but then I've already had the expense of dealing with my teeth looking like the chap on page 1, so i tend to limit my 'hucking' to kerbs in a full facer and pressure suit these days.
can we get confirmation from the man himself that he chickened out permanently? and is it really that bad that nobody will clear it?
A week ago he said he was still going to do it..
It doesn't need to be cleared, we just need a video of it being attempted ๐
I know photos make things look easy. But come on, its not the hut drop in Morzine, its just a wall in a playground. There must be someone on here with a bike, body armour, and lack of sense who can get there???? I thought Scots were supposed to be 'ard'.
my thoughts exactly!
Is it really just that bit behind the bus shelter coming down the grass and over the wall? Plenty lower side bits to practice on and build confidence before the big one, which the pic doesn't show as being very big at all.
First rule of gnar don't look at it too long or you'll chicken out, and definitley don't look at it from the top. Whats it been now a month? no chance.
๐
I know two ex-bmx riders from Torrance, if it's been there long enough pretty sure it'll have been done already ๐
No, it's not really that bad, it just has an unpleasant lead-up. See the other thread now... ๐

I'm sure it has been done already, I never claimed it was impossible, and I'd do it on my trials bike without a worry (either side-hop off it or a slightly scrappy 360 off the front wheel), but to attack it like a trail feature on a suspended bike is somewhat different for me at least!
Donk has it though, I've questioned it too many times now - its easy but somehow it makes me baulk. I will do it though, it's just as and when I get chance to warm up to it.
and I'd do it on my trials bike without a worry (either side-hop off it or a slightly scrappy 360 off the front wheel
hmmmmm
It's been a while, wors, but it's not beyond me (see earlier picture in this thread, bottom of page 3!) though granted from the video earlier I can see why you'd question it!
I live not too far.
My son could do that no bother on his BMX. He's 11.
