How secure is the Dynaplug frame mount?

[#13293233]

Bit of a niche question, but the rubber frame mount thing does not seem to hold the Dynaplug very securely and I'm concerned that a bump in the road will send an expensive bit of kit bouncing into the undergrowth. Can anyone share a nifty way to secure it? My first thought was (of course) gaffer tape, but for some reason it wasn't sticking. Any creative solutions out there (apart from "put it in your pocket" 🙂 )

I added a Polaris fixie strap to mine on the gravel bike.
Works well.

PS - In case it wasn’t obvious the standard Dynaplug mount is under that Polaris strap
