picking my spicy 516 up tomorrow, and as i last minute though how often will it need to have a service. e.g bearings forks shock etc as on my five, it was very few and far between (and it was rode a lot and hard) as never owning a lappy before just wounded how robust are they for a tight Yorkshire man?

Learn to do the maintenance yourself. That way it can be done as often as you like. Which in my book, is whenever the weather is too bad to ride in.
Your forks, bearings and pocket will appreciate it alot more also..

it is just the case if the bearings are as easy to change as they where on my 5 🙄
