Obviously when they start leaking! But my question is more about the ratio of washes to reproofs. I always try and use tech washes but should I reproof after every wash or less frequently ? This winter and spring I seem to have spent a fortune on various Nikwax products especially the soft shell proofer

I only reproof when I notice the material start wetting out.
