When my hands smell funny when I take them off

(with the neoprene ones, this means pretty much every ride, they ferment pretty damn fast)

Varies depending on mud, snot or sweat uptake. No point starting a ride with your gloves at capacity already.

I’ve got a bit of a thing for gloves so I’ve got about 15 pairs. I rotate through them fairly regularly so they don’t tend to need washing that often.

If I whistle, tap my knees playfully and say "come here boys" and they gambol over wagging an encouraging empty thumb, then it's time for a go in the laundry

Every ride. Why wouldn’t you?

cos I ride twice a day 5 days a week and only average 51 miles a week. not worth it.

In the washer after every ride with the other kit; they last longer, don't smell and are nicer to my hands. Similarly I never wear the same trainers two days running now and that has stopped smells there too.
