I had a Mavic 819 UST rim built onto an existing Pro II hub for £80 which included all parts (rim, Sapim spokes, nipples) and labour.

Not bad when you consider what an 819 rim costs on its own..

Is it the same rim? In which case you can reuse your old spokes unless they're particularly trashed!

Hub is a Pro 2 built into a Mavic 317 nr new. Looking to have it built into a stans 355.

Or do I sell it and just buy a ready built one ?

So where are the best prices for either a stand alone rim or a complete wheel ?

Cheers

Do it yurself using the guide on Sheldon Brown - I did the same over a couple of evenings and my wheel is perfectly fine
