0.4kw x 24hrs x12p/kwh = £1.15

It would use 6.9kWh, and I think its roughly 10 pence per kWh.

You got those numbers the wrong way round [b]thedon[/b] stuey is right, why do you need to leave a heater on that long?

I have a room in my house which is quite shaded, little used and consequently (I think?) a bit damp. Trying a bit of heating and leaving the door open to let air circulate before I look into potentially more expensive problems/solutions!
