[#1018890]

Have just got the new 5 spot DW link frame. But before I got it I went on holiday with the old one. Unfortunately it came back with a dent on the top tube. So what do you think this is worth as need to sell it. I don't think it structurally too much to worry about but asphetics are a bit hindered. Anyone sold one or another frame with a dent in it? Cheers.

Put it on ebay be totaly honest (like the pics you posted) Its not going to make the frame weak, but it is a bit of a downer. I expect it will still pull around £500/£550. The horst link frames are still sought after, plus its in a nice colour scheme with a decent shock. If in doubt put a reserve on it or do buy it now or best offer.

I just sold my 5 year old 5 Spot with a dent (not as big) is almost the exact same spot. Sold it for £320. Wasn't in as good nick as yours, well it was over 5 years old.

Take it to a car repair place get them to fill the dent
with aluminium filler paste or use car body repair filler
and get it resprayed and put new decals on it simple
Or find a frame sprayer 😉
