its got full deore groupset, looks like an generic alu frame, some old manitou up front. doubt it will be taken off road think more a commuter and riding round london parks. My concern areas would be headset bearings and hubs.

haha those two prices are very different its defiantly worth more than a score as its full deore. how much does a basic shop service cost?

not much, the groupset seperately might be worth more than the complete bike

Pop it on Gumtree for £100, I daresay you'll get some nibbles and it gives you room to negotiate...

100 seems fair. Think of what you could buy in Halfords for a ton. This stacks up well in comparison.

the bikes not mine, my friend emailed me saying what do you think, the seller wants £80, i thought it looked reasonable for the amount of deore but thought i'd ask you lot.

Personally I'd say the bike was worth more as ratbike to you than a relative few pounds that you'd get for it.
