Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask this question but I'm trying to raise funds to buy an Alpine 160 so I'm going to sell my 2009 Five but I've got no idea as to how much it's worth.

This is the spec:
16"
Fox Float R's
Chrome Grey Paint
Thomson Stem and Post
XT Shifters, front mech, chainset and cassette.
XTR rear mech
Gamut P30 Dual
Stans Flow Rims on Hope Pro 2's
Maxxis Ardent Tyres (in great condition).
Hope mono mini's with black centred floating rotors.

I'd say it's condition was ok to good. It has been used as an MTB so there are a few scratches but there's no cracks on the frame.

I'm away from the UK at the moment but here's a picture that I took of it

I haven't used it since. It's pretty much the same but with different brakes. The saints were over kill...

if it went on ebay you may get £1,000 inc postage if its the pro, if its the S you may get £800 inc postage. Wrong size you see for most people you are really limiting yourself to who would bid.

Defo more than a grand. Recently I've seen a 2008 five frame sell on it's own for £700.

With that spec I bet you would get £1400 easy.

Looking at the spec I would sell the frame then use parts on Alpine 160.

agree with oxnop - should easily get £1400

You're in the right time of year for selling so don't accept a low offer for what is a great bike

yeah, go for 1400 as a start point and maybe accept a little lower but not much. Very sought after bikes and frames so don't be scared to hang on.

Will put an ad up in the classifieds shortly.

Thanks for the replies.
