Can anyone advise me on here on minimum clearance for 26" to 650 b fork conversions...

I have a pair of german answer kilo 1.2 forks and with a 650b racing ralph I have about 8mm clearance.

There is plenty of clearance width wise and there is no danger of rubbing under full compression I am just wondering what others doing this conversion with different forks are deeming as enough!!

I appreciate it wont be that clever in real muddy conditions

Are there any similar patterned 650b tyres with lower profiles to give a bit extra?
any advice or experiences would be gratefully accepted!!

many thanks!

2.1 Ralphs when they get released, the new Honey Badger is a bit smaller than a 2.25 Ralph. A 2.1 Ron is a bit smaller as well.

I'm running a 2.35 Hans Damph in an old set of Pikes as a trial and I get around 1mm clearance! Only ridden it in the dry for obvious reasons. 8mm sounds good to me!
