Not quite a 'how much is it worthy' thread! I brought a new bike 3 weeks ago but family circumstances have changed. If I'd know is never have brought it. The bike is exactly as new and never been ridden. What percentage should I hope to get? And where should I sell it? eBay or via a shop or something?
Thanks
Start at 50% of RRP, you may get more.
Keep it, your circumstances may change again, just as quick.
I'd have said 30% less than you paid.
There is someone trying to knock out a new boxed Kona Unit for about 85% of retail at the moment so you might get more.
It depends on the bike, too. If it's something where there's a supply shortage you'll get more.
Take a stone, walk to a cliff edge, throw the stone off the edge. That's how fast bikes depreciate.
More seriously, if it's so new, and never been ridden, can't you return it?
It's entirely make and model specific. Factors such as how desirable it is, is it still available to purchase? can the warranty be transferred? is it marked in anyway? how can people pay you for it? etc. etc. all affect how much it's worth 2nd hand.
At the end of the day it's worth what someone is prepared to pay for it rather than a fixed percentage. Wether it's worth what you want is another matter entirely!
I'd advertise it on here and eBay with a sensible discount from new and see how it goes, you can always negotiate with a potential buyer. If you get no interest then it's too expensive for people to consider and you can drop the price for next time, you can't put it up once you've sold it too cheap though!!

most important question - does it have a transferable warranty or is the warranty card filled out? If not and you can transfer it to someone then as close to purchase price as you can. If not 50% off rrp.
Is it a 2013? Google prices- they may go into sale(s) which means you would be better off holding onto it until your size etc goes out of stock/runs out.
Good luck/hope alls ok.
Only worth what someone will pay for it at the end of the day,I bought a full Susser 4 months ago and I don't think it's worth half of what I paid for it but someone might give me more, just luck of the draw I'm afraid
