Some time ago, filled with enthusiasm to do more burly riding (my mate who's a DHer had been taking me round Wharncliffe), I bought a Kona coiler. Due to knee problems, jeyness, and falling back in love with climbing it's not had a whole lot of use and I've decided to move it on. I've not been following bike prices recently so how much should I hope to get?
Kona coiler deelux
5" travel (the last year they were 5")
Bomber z1 freeride forks, vanilla rc shock
Stan's DH rims on Hope pro II hubs
Big Earl tyres run tubeless
Hayes brakes (8"/6" rotors)
XT/LX drivetrain
Race face bars, easton stem
Originally cost £2000 before upgrades (the wheels weren't cheap).
If you're interested, keep watching as it'll be on the classifieds shortly.
£800ish
2 and six
Would you consider splitting it? Id be interested in the wheels...
id be interested in theframe if its large??
2 and six would be a little disappointing...
sorry, not looking to split - I suspect I'd just end up with half of it left over. And it's a medium anyway.
cheers anyway
Its a time and effort thing, easy to sell all the components off a bike on Classifieds, and you'll make more money, but its having the patience.
you will find that you will get substantially more if you split the bike.
its having the patience.
that would be precisely the problem 😮
having said that, if I'd got offers on the frame and wheels then I'd probably go for it
I'd like the forks...
It's not going on tonight, but if you're still interested watch the classifieds...
