I got a new Prologo Nago Evo last week and so far I've done 140 miles on it. Yesterday, I did 80 miles and things got painful, and numb, if you know what I mean.
I'm considering going back to my Specialized Romin, but I wonder if I haven't given the Prologo enough of a chance to bed in yet.

Traditionally, it means giving the covering a chance to soften up and become more compliant, but given that most modern saddles are synthetic (rather than leather), it's debatable whether it has as much meaning as it did before. However, I have read in reviews on this exact saddle that it does take a while to soften up, although that could be mere journo speak.
I agree it is most likely that it's just not the saddle for me.
I lasted one ride before I grubbed around in the garage for an old saddle to put on the new road bike until I could get a new one I felt would be more comfortable
I'm in the same boat and am experimenting with saddle tilt to get the saddle resting on the 'right bits'. Amazing how much 1 or 2 degrees of tilt forward or back can change where your sit bones engage with the saddle.
Just been to my LBS and I'm gonna give the Specialized Toupe a go.
I really rate the Toupe but obviously it's subjective - nice thing about Specialized is you get 30 days to test the saddle and swap for a different width or style depending how you get on with it.
Charge Knife for me - fantastically comfortable and a good price too.
