Canadian Canoe, 2 men, 100 miles.
Ignoring problems, rapids, weather etc etc should this be achievable in 4 days?
with bikes?
wrong forum, I shall repost, sorry.
depends on experience in a canoe, and then canadian... if you're carrying a bit of kit going to be a big canoe and if you're not experienced going to find you're not as efficient as you think as you'll be paddling against each other more. Also depends on if its a river? if its fast flowing. But i would say not impossible, just not likely.
on still open water we could average about 3mph, 2 of us, a load of lugage and a dog.
Doesn't take long to get proficent at it, steering is a PITA though, best to get good at j-stokes and keep its heading the right way, otherwise you'll end up zig zagin everywhere.
