[Closed] How I dry Five Tens relatively quickly

After reading in this forum that Five Tenstake ages to dry I thought I'd share how I do it, maybe its a common practice but I haven't read it anywhere, so I thought I could share it. After yesterday's shower returning from work this is what I did. 1) Get one newspaper page, make a ball and put it in the shoe. 2) Repeat until the shoe is full of newspaper balls. 3) Wait about 30 min, remove balls, then repeat 1 and 2. 4) Wait around 45-60 min, remove balls, then repeat 1 and 2. 5) Leave them overnight, remove balls, ride. With other shoes I don't need to do 4, but Five Tens absorb a lot of water. Hope this helps!

Last time I bought a pair of gortex boots the bloke told me not to use newspapers to dry as the ink will clog up the gortex. He said just use old t towels and replace when wet. Don't suppose it matters so much if it doesn't have a membrane.
