We had 27 deg c in aberdeenshire and the highlands........toasty and dusty nirvana.......
Just been slow baked doing the Tour of the Peak on the roadbike today. Great fun, very good route, nice bunch running it, but the mahoosive queue at the feedstop for water / grub was a shame. Still - they added a water stop towards the end of the route and were coming through the pen at the start with suncream too, so planned well for it.
Red legs, red arms. Glad I didn't wear gloves on my bike rides, wish I'd worn shorter shorts.
31ºc out on my ride today according to the 'puter.
How hot though ?
A Tropical 16C here halfway between Shetland and Norway 😥 Im missing all the good weather...
I have toasty chin, all day yesterday out on Embsay Crag with Roots Riding... much awesomeness though, and achey arms and shoulders...
I had the white goatee of calamine lotion today, which I then forgot about and went outside in several times...
Hotter than one of Satan's chat up lines!! Got the classic sunglass arm marks across my swede!!
We rode around the Glen Tilt - Beinn a Ghlo loop. It was so dry our suncsreen lathered legs were covered in dust. We saw a handful of other riders out in the boonies.
Special thanks to the shepherds cottage dwellers who refilled our camelbacks.

Before heading off up Glen Tanar, the car said it was 26.5 deg C.
It was definitely hotter than Fochabers, I can tell yer. Glad I got a sunscreen top from that boy in the car park!
My Garmin said it hit 35degC, not sure how accurate that is though.
Hot. Road ride yesterday morning was nice though, warm but cool enough with the wind, work today was too hot, due to being in a kitchen.
Quite warm standing on the 2's landing on G wing, watching prisoners play pool & thinking 'on my list of 1000 places I don't want to be, this is no 1'
31.1*c - and on the west coast of Scotland! Looked and felt more like Greek islands today!

Had a great weekend. Wife away surfing in Newquay, which meant I could get to karate early on Saturday, so 10:30-3:30 karate, home, quick beer and shower then back out for another beer and went to watch THE RAID at the cinema (brutal). Sunday up early and MTB ride up the lommand hills from Kinross, blazing sunshine!! Back home washed and waxed the car, kebab, beers & movie.... Need a shower before bed I stink, I am sunburnt, salty and I am knackered, but a good kind of knackered.
Do I have to go to work tomorrow?
It was very hot for me!

45+ in the desert getting a bit warm for cycling during the day now!
Left it until the evening to ride today but still pretty damn warm - cracking loop around a dusty Grizedale taking in some great descents, followed by ale and chips outside the pub in Satterthwaite. Yes. 8)
16ish as it's autumn/winter here in Tas now
Baking hot today messing about on water with a few lake jumps then a hot ride home as the sun went down

44 on Saturday in Hyderabad, India, when I was out on the road bike - quite hot enough!
