[#10048443]

On telly the other night Wiggo was asked where he placed his knob when in lycra.

He said straight up but mentioned that some of the peleton tuck it between their legs and sit on it when riding.

I couldn't think of anything more painful. He didn't look like he was fibbing.

Anyone on here do as he says?

I tuck it in my sock like any other activity.  The question I have is if I wear kneepads does it go inside or outside?

Well it's a bit more hassle but I always tuck it in my kneepads, you don't want it flapping about.

If you pedal fast enough the wind chill makes stowage a non question.

Initially straight up then i give it free reign to settle how it likes. Can't remember ever having to adjust mid ride.

On telly the other night Wiggo was asked where he placed his knob when in lycra.

Are you sure the interviewer wasn't just implying he's a bit of a knob head?

To the left for climbing, to the right for descending. Obviously.

Detach it and keep it at home for safekeeping.

Only a matter of time before Team Sky start dishing out the Viagra for aerodynamic advantage.

Marginal gains and all that.

I though viagra was meant to be, ahem, larger performance gains?

After finding I had no use for it, I had it surgically removed.

I'm surprised none of the older ones amongst you haven't mentioned the problem of low swinging 2 veg. The meat is a non existent problem but I'm nearly at the point where I wont ride a saddle with a hole in for fear of ripping them clean off!!. Another year or so I'll be greasing them and popping them inside.!! Anyone remember the Clackers around in the 70's that were banned?. Kuku Penthouse works but its an expensive solution!!

I've just passed Sir Jiffy Bag, but never thought to ask him about this.

I say passed; I mean he was going one way and I was going the other. He hasn't got the hang of riding in England yet. He was nearer to my nearside kerb than I was. Down a dark country lane his gang were all across the road. Naughty!

If its cold I wrap it in my vest. Still turns into a cl**. Think I'll start a new trend for cold cyclist s. Belly button and foreskin pierced and chain between them . Easy to follow through layers of overlapping bibshorts etc to find what you need for a slash. Alternatively just pull. It will either appear or you'll feel where it is! Ideal for oldies who need to pee in a hurry.

...Ideal for oldies who need to pee in a hurry.

Great idea. I'll use it for the next 'Puffer. 🙂

Many's the time I've nipped off piste for a quick pee and then spent a few minutes rummaging around for what no longer seems to exist.
